Wake Up, Christians: Stop Hiding in Churches and Start Conquering Culture for Christ
I'm no blind supporter of Blackwater—Erik Prince's controversial private military empire has its share of scandals and excesses. But let's cut the nonsense: Prince, a devout conservative Christian who converted to Catholicism and has poured millions into faith-based causes, embodies the kind of bold, unapologetic action that believers desperately need right now. He didn't just pray for protection in war zones; he built a force to defend what he saw as Christian values against threats, even if it meant stepping into the fray with "Christian crusader" intensity. That's the raw truth we're missing today. Christians aren't called to cower in pews, whispering prayers while the world burns. We're commanded to charge forward, occupy territory, and advance the Kingdom with fierce determination. Anything less is spiritual cowardice.
Look around: America, once a beacon of Christian influence, is crumbling under secular assault. In 2019, 65% of adults identified as Christians—a sharp drop from 77% a decade earlier, according to Pew Research. By 2025, that number has slid further to 66%, with millions abandoning the faith amid cultural decay. Church membership has plunged below 50% for the first time in U.S. history, as Gallup data screams the obvious: We're losing ground fast. The decline isn't just numbers—it's power. Hollywood peddles moral rot, Big Tech censors truth, government halls echo with anti-faith agendas, and academia mocks biblical principles. The enemy has infiltrated every institution, turning them into weapons against God. Why haven't we done the same?
The Biblical Mandate: Faith Demands Action, Not Apathy
Scripture doesn't mince words: "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:17). James hammers it home in chapter 2: What good is claiming belief if it doesn't produce fruit? We're saved by grace through faith, not our efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9), but that same grace equips us for "good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10). Jesus didn't commission couch-potato disciples—He said, "You are the salt of the earth" and "the light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-16), commanding us to preserve culture and expose darkness. Salt that's lost its flavor gets trampled; light hidden under a bowl is useless. We're to influence society, not retreat from it.
Christ's Great Commission isn't optional: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). In Luke 19:13, the master tells his servants to "occupy till I come"—engage in business, invest, multiply influence until the King returns. Bad company corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33), so why let secular forces dominate while we play defense? The Bible calls for proactive warfare: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). Transformation isn't passive—it's a battle cry to reshape society under Christ's lordship.
Historical giants got this right. William Wilberforce, fueled by faith, abolished the British slave trade. Michael Faraday, a devout Christian, revolutionized science with electromagnetism. They didn't hide—they conquered their fields for God's glory. Today? We're seeing glimmers: Leaders like Pope Francis wield global influence, while figures in politics and charity push back against decline. But it's not enough. The void is glaring.
Storm Every Gate: Christians Must Infiltrate Key Sectors Now
The enemy has operatives everywhere—why don't we? We need Christians storming the gates of hell in every arena, not just preaching from safe pulpits.
Government and Politics: Stop whining about corrupt leaders and become them. We need Christian staffers drafting laws, judges upholding biblical justice, and politicians like Wilberforce fighting tyranny. With Christian influence waning, anti-faith policies proliferate—abortion on demand, gender confusion in schools, censorship of gospel truth. Infiltrate Capitol Hill, statehouses, and local councils. As Proverbs 29:2 declares, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Science and Technology: Where are the Christian nuclear scientists, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers? Secular elites weaponize tech against faith—surveillance states, transhumanist agendas, algorithms burying Christian content. We must build alternatives: Faith-driven labs advancing creation care, tech firms protecting free speech. Faraday showed it's possible; now it's our turn to innovate for the Kingdom.
Media and Hollywood: Culture is upstream of politics, yet Christians have ceded this battlefield. We produce feel-good films while the enemy pumps out propaganda normalizing sin. We need directors, producers, and journalists shaping narratives. Imagine Christian blockbusters exposing human trafficking or celebrating family values. As salt, we preserve; as light, we expose. But right now, we're dim and flavorless.
Business and Economy: Run companies that honor God—fair wages, ethical practices, tithing profits to missions. The enemy controls corporations pushing woke agendas; we counter with enterprises funding orphanages, fighting poverty, and employing the faithful. Wealth isn't evil—it's a tool for Kingdom expansion.
Education and Arts: Academia indoctrinates with atheism; arts mock faith. Plant Christian professors, artists, and educators who renew minds and inspire souls. Paint, write, teach with uncompromised truth.
The decline proves our failure: As Christianity fades, moral chaos rises—skyrocketing crime, family breakdown, cultural despair. Four in five Americans see religious influence dropping, and most lament it. We're reaping what we've sown: Passivity.
Become the Kingdom's Deep State: A Network of Faithful Warriors
We as believers must form a "deep state"—not shadowy conspirators, but a disciplined, prayer-fueled network embedding Kingdom agents everywhere. Like Prince's vision of Christian supremacy in action, we advance without apology. Connect, mentor, fund each other. Sunday worship fuels; Monday-Saturday executes.
This isn't power lust—it's obedience. Christ reigns through surrendered lives. Die to self daily; be willing to martyr for truth if called. No more excuses: "I'm too busy," "It's not my gift." The Great Commission is for all.
The Hour Is Late: Go Forth and Take Ground
This generation must flip the script—stop defending scraps and start offensive warfare. Christ didn't say "sit and wait"—He said "Go." So go. Infiltrate, innovate, influence. Build empires for eternity. The world's on fire; be the firefighters armed with gospel truth.
If we fail, the decline accelerates into full collapse. But if we rise? Revival through action. The question isn't if—it's now. What are you waiting for? Get out there and take ground for King Jesus.
Do you think Christians are doing enough in 2025?
